We learned that while it is 9:00 PM on March 12th here, it is 10:00 AM on March 13th there in Beijing. Currently and for the past 6 weeks, the school has been doing online classes due to COVID-19. She showed us many of the foods that her and many people in Beijing love having. Along with the delicious food, she told us about some well known tourist sites. She mentions that even though many places are still open, not many people go. She explained three major holidays they celebrate in China: Chinese New Year, the Lantern Festival, and the Dragon Boat Festival.
Her school has many athletic teams, including tennis, soccer, table tennis, badminton, and rugby. She also said her school looks very similar to our school and starts at 8:15 and ends at 3:25, and it is a K-12 school.
