Polar Ice Cap

 Polar Ice Cap 11:00am

J.B. started out by showing us how his view form his window was, snow everywhere!! He told us how cold cold it is there. Hes sharing stories about how he feel into cold ice water, thankfully he didn't get hypothermia just a very very cold foot that broke the ice. he told us how the most amazing thing that happened to him in the Polar ice cap was seeing the northern lights. The average temperature is about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The highest temperature he has experienced was 67 degrees Fahrenheit and the coldest has been -37 degrees Fahrenheit.

He hasn't seen many animals because of the cold but when he has its been very close. One time he almost got stranded in cold weather because he got dropped off on an island and couldn't find his job site. His job is basically collecting glacier samples to help prevent global warming!
