Taiwan

We are now calling some kids from Taiwan at 3:00 AM. The kids are surprisingly fluent in English and one of the easiest groups to understand. In Taiwan they have the Dragon Boat Festival where they have boats that they sail across lakes for New Year. On New Year they use firecrackers to keep away evil spirits. In Taiwan they have Teachers Day on 9/28. This is used to celebrate the great teacher Confucius The kids in Taiwan are very attentive, and ask lots of questions. In ways Taiwan and us here at Briarhill have similar holidays, but we have different ones too. In Taiwan they have less holidays than we do though. We all had lots of fun talking to the Taiwanese kids. Thank you for reading the #briarhill24hrworldtour blog.
