India

For our 13th stop, we are talking with Juhi's Aunt, Aparna as she shows us a local market in New Dehli, India. Currently in New Delhi, it is 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 13th. The weather is 86℃. To get their milk, customers must go in and ask the shop keeper for milk. Then from there, the customer will place a container under a dispenser that the shop keeper will activate and that is how they get their milk. Next she talked to us about the store hours. The store opens at 9 A.M. and closes at 1 P.M. Then they come back and reopen at 4 P.M. and close at 10 P.M. The extra 2 hours are because usually only one person mans the store the whole time it is open, and they need a break. School usually starts around 7:30 to 8, and it usually ends around 3.  Schools in Delhi have closed down because of the Coronavirus. A lot of offices have been trying to work from home because of it too. When you call someone on a public phone, the government sends you a reminder to wash your hands because of the Coronavirus. India has 25 official languages in the country.
