Antarctica

For our 8th stop, we're visiting Antarctica to talk to a scientist from The University of Wisconsin. We learned that to get down to The South Pole, you have to take a flight to New Zealand and then take a flight on the C-17 so they are safe when they land in Antarctica. Next they showed us a slide show of what it is like living in the Ice Cube Observatory, including where they sleep. Next they told us about what the weather including how they store food and what they have to do to get water. Today, the temperature in Antarctica got to -58℉!!!
